GENDER DISPARITY

I was asked a Question about the gender disparity I believe this conversation should focus on fairness, respect, and true inclusion rather than division. If we want to reduce conflict around issues like transgender participation in sports and access to bathrooms, then we need to be willing to have honest and balanced discussions.

From my perspective, fairness matters. We already have categories in sports men’s and women’s divisions based on physical differences. So one idea for inclusion could be creating additional spaces or divisions that allow transgender athletes to compete in a way that is both fair and respectful to everyone involved. The goal should be to ensure no group feels excluded or at a disadvantage.

At the same time, I don’t believe it’s my place to judge how someone chooses to live their life. My faith teaches me not to judge others, and I take that seriously. People have the freedom to live according to their own identity and beliefs, just as I have the freedom to live according to mine.

As someone who values conservative principles, I believe in fairness, equal application of the law, justice, and individual freedom. That means respecting others’ rights while also having open, independent thought about complex issues.

Ultimately, I think we should treat others the way we would want to be treated. Just as we wouldn’t want someone forcing their beliefs or way of life onto us, we should extend that same respect to others. We may not all agree, but we can still choose to coexist with mutual respect.
