"I come from a proud family that has been involved with public service for as long as I can remember. I want to work for you. We need to create more living wage jobs, improve education, limit state government over reach, free-market growth to build and expand small businesses within the state, As a servant leader I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate the complicated governmental agencies, and get things done."
Unity is never attacked by accident. It is attacked because it is dangerous. Before a people gain power, they are divided by fear, by ego, by misinformation. Division is preparation for control. - MalcolmX
LIST OF ISSUES
AFFORDABLE HOUSING
For far too long our District has been plagued with several issues over the years, with electricity, water, and other utilities and high property taxes and they continue to ignore these issues. As your state representative, I will provide the basic human living conditions for every Atlanta and Georgia. Across Georgia, too many families are spending more than 30% of their income on housing the affordability standard set by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
Rising property taxes, stagnant wages, and limited voucher acceptance have widened the gap between supply and demand. I know housing stability strengthens public safety, education, and economic growth.
My plan focuses on practical, fiscally responsible solutions such as: Incentivize Participation, Increase Housing Supply, Preserve & Protect and Reinvest for Results
Housing affordability is not just a housing issue it’s a workforce, public safety, and economic issue. With smart policy and bipartisan leadership, we can ensure safe, stable, and affordable homes for Georgia families.
Safe Homes. Strong Families. Stronger Georgia.
EDUCATION
For our education, I believe that families stand at the center of our society. And that every family has a personal stake in promoting excellence in education. Excellence does not begin in city hall, and Washington when it comes to excellence, excellence must begin in our homes and neighborhood schools, where it's the responsibility of every parent and teacher and the right of every child education our children come first.
We must do more to restore discipline to schools; and we must encourage the teaching of new basics, reward teachers of merit, enforce tougher standards, and put our parents back in charge.
HOMELESSNESS
I've experienced homelessness at 14 and lived nearly nine years without stable housing. What began as pain became purpose a commitment to ensure no Georgian is left without a safe place to call home. But this fight is not over. I’m not running just to pass legislation. I’m running to ensure policies are executed effectively, funded responsibly, and reach the families who truly need them. On any given night, nearly 12,000 Georgians experience homelessness. Each year, up to 59,000 children face housing instability, disrupting their education and future. Black Georgians are disproportionately impacted but let me be clear: This is not a Black issue. Not a White issue. Not an urban or rural issue. This is a Georgia issue.
A bed for the night is temporary. Stability is the goal. This campaign is about more than policy it’s about dignity, opportunity, and making sure every Georgian has a place to call home. Together, we can turn hardship into hope and purpose into progress.
GUN & GANG VIOLENCE
Black men are killing Black men at rates we can no longer ignore. This is not random it is the result of broken systems, manipulation, and a lack of knowledge that keeps our communities divided. Scripture warns, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Ignorance has become a weapon turned against us. We cannot demand safety from others if we refuse to create it within our own neighborhoods.
Right now, in Georgia, gangs are driving crime at alarming levels. Law enforcement agencies estimate gangs are responsible for roughly 65% of crime statewide.
Gang membership has surged in recent years, with over 127,000 known members and associates. Recruitment is reaching children as young as middle school. Georgia’s current gang law increases penalties only after crimes are committed. It does not fully criminalize participation, recruitment, leadership, or coordination within criminal organizations. As a result, gang leaders often avoid accountability while young recruits face the consequences.
We must fix this. We will protect Georgia communities by strengthen Georgia’s ability to prosecute organized gang activity Hold leaders, recruiters, and facilitators accountable Increase penalties for coordinated criminal operations
We must protect our youth, and our families we must teach our children how to pick up the book and not a Gun.
HUMAN & SEX TRAFFICKING
One of my loved one was groomed and trafficked by men who exploited her. Georgia is one of the states hardest hit by trafficking. Atlanta ranks among the highest U.S. cities for child sex trafficking, with 65% of offenders operating in and around suburban and metro areas, and 9% near the airport. Victims include both adults and minors, with 76 minors reported in 2024. The average age of victims in Georgia is just 14.8 years, and about 100 adolescent girls are sexually exploited each night across the state.
That’s why I support SB 547, which increases penalties for pimping and pandering by classifying all such offenses as felonies, and HB 1154, which strengthens punishments for trafficking, including labor or sexual servitude.
SMALL BUSINESS & LABOR MARKET GROWTH
Georgia is home to one of the nation’s strongest entrepreneurial ecosystems especially in Atlanta. Yet too many small businesses and working families still face barriers to capital, contracts, workforce access, and opportunity. Our campaign is focused on delivering bold, practical solutions that expand economic growth for every community.
Expand Access to Capital Launch a Georgia Small Business Equity Fund with state-backed loan guarantees. Protect and Promote Local Businesses Support commercial property ownership with down payment assistance. Open Doors to State Contracts Increase small business participation in state procurement. Invest in Workforce and Innovation
Expand job training and apprenticeships tied to high-growth industries. Increase access to affordable childcare and transportation so more Georgians can work. Expand broadband and infrastructure in rural and underserved communities. Promote second-chance hiring and enforce pay equity and anti-discrimination protections.
Why It Matters When small businesses grow, jobs grow. When families can access opportunity, neighborhoods stabilize. When we invest in every community, Georgia thrives.
This plan ensures economic opportunity does not depend on your ZIP code and that every entrepreneur and worker in Georgia has a fair shot at success.
AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
Our campaign is committed to strengthening healthcare access while protecting taxpayers and preserving individual freedom. We support a state-driven, fiscally responsible approach to expanding healthcare coverage for hardworking families who currently fall through the cracks.
This is Defending Life and Family Values Protecting the sanctity of life, safeguarding parental rights in healthcare decisions, and ensuring that state policies reflect the values of our communities.
Our approach prioritizes accountability, local control, economic growth, and compassionate care—ensuring that no family is left behind while maintaining the principles of limited government and personal responsibility.
